Al-Falah Mosque offers a variety of courses for adults. From getting to know Islam and reciting the Quran to learning a new language. Read on to find out more about our offerings.

Love Al-Quran Series
- Beginner
- Identifying and addressing Arabic Hijaiyah alphabet's individual and joint letters with origins of pronunciation (termed "Makhraj").
- Functions and applications of tashdid, tashkil, sukun, madda, etc.
- Systematic approach based on Rasm 'Uthmani Tilawati Book 1 (an effective, fast and proven book).
- Group and individual vocal reading, plus cooperative learning.
- Memorisation techniques, slides presentation and Audio CD as a learning tool.
- Recitation of Al-Fatihah and other short chapters.
- Brief introduction to Tajweed.
- Tajweed
- Introduction to Tajweed (Tilawati Book 2).
- Attaining fluency in reading joint letters with madda, waqaf and ibtida'.
- The 4 core elements of Tajweed: The Ghunnah, Madda, Makhraj and Tartil (composure).
- Learn to easily identify Rasm Uthmani's signs and symbols, and the various hamzah rules.
- Group and individual reading and cooperative learning.
- Master techniques on memorising the Tajweed rules.
- Talaqqi Al-Quran
- Direct reading of Al-Qur'an (Rasm Uthmani) with Tajweed.
- Focus on individual recitation with fluency and confidence.
- One-on-one recitation of the 30th Juz and selected chapters.
- Intermediate rules of Tajweed with application of ghunnah, madda, makhraj and tartil.
- Identifying hizb/rubu/juz division types and knowledge of "Hafs From Aasim" Qiraat.
- Introduction to tahsin and tarannum murattal.
Arabic Language Series
Our Arabic courses are based on the modern standard Arabic used around the world today. More emphasis are given to conversation and comprehension. Grammar is more thoroughly discussed in the Intermediate and Advanced levels.

Synopsis:
1. Elaboration on key concepts of Ihsan, which includes subjects such as Gratitude (Syukur), Self evaluation (Muhasabah) etc.
2. To discover the importance of understanding these concepts and how to apply it in our daily lives.
3. To value of this life and guides the human race back to their Creator in a journey of self discovery
Mandarin Language Series
Our Mandarin Language courses will teach Hanyu Pinyin and basic conversation through dialogues. At the end of the Beginner level, participants will be able to speak basic Mandarin.
